About Feox

Feox is a new advertising system which overlays images on your website.

It addresses a fundamental limitation in websites. There is only so much screen real estate for advertising. In order to add a new layer of advertising to your website other ads must be replaced. Also images on your website consume resources for your website with little or know payoff for the website. Now webmasters with many images on their websites can monetize these images to create added revenue for their website.

Feox has incorporated several cutting edge Microsoft technologies to help us create and implement the Feox ad system. First we use Visual Studio with Microsoft Team Foundation System and Sharepoint to keep our team organized and our code in order and allow multiple developers to easily work on the same codebase and communicate changes and updates. We have made extensive use of C# and ASP.net technologies to quickly and effectively implement our product vision. Second data is stored in Microsoft SQL server which is capable of serving our ads at the speed necessary for our application. Also this database system will be able to scale upwards as popularity for our product increases. Finally we make use of IIS on top of Microsoft Virtual server which allows us to quickly serve our site content and web ads and easily create backups of our complete server in case of a hardware failure. Microsoft Virtual Server also makes it incredibly easy for us to upgrade our underlying hardware without experiencing any downtime with our ad system.

Feox is currently in beta testing, our anticipated release to the general public is December 1, 2007.
